AWS Competence Lead/Advisor

As our previous person in the position is currently taking care of the group level competence lead, we are offering you big boots to fill as Cybercom Finland’s AWS Competence Lead. This role is not something that is available quite often! If you consider yourself a top notch AWS cloud architecture professional with the ability to deliver proven solutions and set best practises both internally and to our customers as well as lead the way of the competence within the field, you should keep reading.

Your mission as the AWS Competence Lead in Cybercom Finland is to be a forerunner and leader in AWS technologies and solutions both internally and externally. The allocation between in-house and customer work will be approximately 50/50. You will play a significant role in both recognizing and developing best practises as well as providing company wide support in the area. As the AWS Competence Lead you are responsible for providing development paths for all employees interested in the specialization as well as creating and implementing a development plan for the competence area. You will also participate in our recruitment activities within the area by recognizing top talents and how to help them to develop among us. In addition to being an in-house lead, you will also have an important customer-facing role. Your expertise and support will be needed and valued for instance in solution sales, building our AWS solutions and services and developing them further to meet the needs of the businesses of our customers.

You have extensive knowledge in AWS technologies and solutions and how to utilize them to support business operations’ objectives. You are easy to approach and you communicate fluently with our customers, the AWS community and our AWS architects. You are genuinely interested in following and finding out the trends in AWS technologies, networking with professionals both internally and externally as well as showing initiative to share your professionalism with your colleagues. Although you have reached the competence lead level, we highly appreciate if you also recognize room for personal development and you want to hone and maintain your own expertise by hands-on action as well.
